Accounting software for eBay, Amazon & PayPal VAT sales in UK

Hi

I am looking for some guidance from the community :-)

I have been looking for some time to find suitable accounting software that will enable me to auto import sales from Amazon including FBA, and eBay sales (even if just PayPal import) as well as our PayPal transactions from our web site.

I was about to sign up for Xero as it has both PayPal import and Amazon import. However apparently it has a 2000/month transaction limit. At around 50 sales a day and with the PayPal import splitting the sales and fees into 2 transactions we must be over the limit. I would consider us a very small business and yet exceeded this software supposedly intended for small and medium businesses. That is without trying to import Amazon sales. No info on how it handles FBA. 

QuickBooks apparently has a limit of 12500 or so customers, so over a year we would reach this hard limit. That is without considering Amazon sales or FBA.

I looked at Kash flow before and discounted that too. If I recall the imports were not so good so I didn't look very hard at this.

I am also unsure whether just tracking VAT on every transaction is enough as I read about having to have sequential invoice numbers on VAT invoices so are these necessary in which case would we need to actually import the eBay sales details to build the invoices or are the PayPal imports with VAT tracking enough? We are currently sending invoices via Packing Partner but this cannot account for ad-hoc changes people ask for outside of the simple eBay purchase.

So I am very interested to know what people use and how good it is, as this is not a unique problem.

Ideally I would like to incorporate inventory management but consider this secondary to having a good accounting system in place as I need to submit our first quarterly VAT return in a couple of months so have to commit to a solution very soon.

Why not use Packing Partner's VAT function? Just export all sales records for the quarter and the VAT is automatically tallied up for you.  It take less than a minute to do.
